Passwordless authentication
Passwords are inherently vulnerable to hacks, which is why Provet Cloud is one of the first solutions in our industry to implement passwordless authentication at login. Instead of relying on a user-generated password, users can access the system via smart cards, Yubikeys, and biometric data (e.g. fingerprint) without risk of password breach. With passwordless authentication, logging in is faster than with passwords and significantly more secure.
IP lock
Another way we’re preventing data breaches is by restricting access to Provet Cloud by unauthorized users. IP lock is a security feature that uses a list of approved IP addresses from which users may access the system, blocking access from any other IP addresses. Only authorized users and their devices within specific locations are able to log in. It’s just another way we’re preventing security threats and bringing you peace of mind.
GDPR compliance
We take the General Data Protection Regulation law very seriously, and not just in the EU. We follow this standard of data protection and privacy everywhere Provet Cloud is available. We handle personal information with the sensitivity that it demands, and we will not sell that personal data without explicit consent of our customers. You also maintain the right to access and control your practice’s data at any time.
ISO 27001 certification
Provet Cloud is developed, implemented, and supported under the Nordhealth Finland Oy system for information security, which is certified according to ISO 27001:2022. This is an internationally recognized standard for information security. This certification demonstrates our commitment to protecting sensitive data, mitigating risks and following the latest standards in information security.
Your data is your data
You own the data within the Provet Cloud, not us. Owning your data means maintaining control, responsibility, and authority over the information generated by our system. You can access, manage, and apply your own governance to the data (control); you are accountable for all the ways your team uses and processes the data (responsibility); and you make the decisions on how the information is stored, analyzed, and shared (authority).
